BEVERLY HOLISTIC HEALTH has been serving patients for over 10 years at its downtown location at 146 Cabot Street in Beverly, Massachusetts. John Coville is a licensed acupuncturist with over 13 years of experience.  He and a staff of professional massage therapists provide clients with a full range of holistic services from acupuncture and massage therapy to foot reflexology, ear candling, hot stone massage and cranial sacral therapy.  From the time you enter Beverly Holistic Health to the time you leave, you will experience a dedicated staff whose mission is to serve and provide you with a total healing experience.

THE STAFF

John Coville is an acupuncturist licensed by the Board of Medicine.  He attended, and currently teaches at, the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown.  John is skilled in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture as well as Chinese herbal medicine.

Acupuncture is a holistic form of medicine in that it treats the root of the problem, not just the symptoms.  With this in mind, John will often recommend herbs, specific lifestyle changes, dietary changes and exercises to support the acupuncture therapy and keep the problem from reoccurring.

John has treated a wide variety of conditions over the years and has had particular success in treating digestive disorders, PMS, autoimmune problems and sports injuries

 

Stephanie Doiron is a holistic massage therapist and graduate of Spa Tech Institute in Ipswich.  She specializes in interactive and therapeutic massage.  With each session tailored to suit her client's individual needs.  Stephanie incorporates Swedish massage.  Craniosacral Alignment, stretching and Deep Tissue (when needed).  Her focus is on releasing stress, chronic pain management (particularly with migraines and arthritis), and in helping her clients regain strength, flexibility and range of motion following an injury.

 

Betsy Mark is an Acupuncturist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine.  She is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture with a Masters Degree in Chinese and Japanese style Acupuncture.  Betsy has over ten years of experience in treating all ages and a variety of ailments.  Her focus is on women’s health issues including infertility and menopause.  Betsy has also had good success in the treatment of emotional disorders.

 

 

 

 

Georgette Pied is a massage therapist who did her training at the Palmer Institute in Salem.  She is also a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience.  Georgette works with her clients to reduce tension, promote recovery of soft tissue injuries and reach optimal health.  She is a Reiki practitioner and will often incorporate Reiki and foot reflexology in her massage sessions.

Georgette has also been  trained in massage for the elderly and cancer patients.  

 

 

 

Katherine MacKay is a massage therapist who graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge.  Her focus is on deep tissue massage and injury work.  She employs techniques including Sports and Swedish massage, positional release and range of motion.  Katherine likes a challenge and works with her clients to achieve full recovery from injury or trauma.  She also offers help with changes in body mechanics and postural problems.  Katherine is also skilled at pregnancy massage, Foot Reflexology and Stone Massage.

 

 

 

Kelly Anderson is a massage therapist who graduated from the Polarity Realization Institute in Ipswich. specializing in therapeutic massage.  She also has a degree in Physical Education and likes to focus on deep tissue work with runners and other athletes.  Kelly incorporates range of motion, myofascial release, trigger-point work and reflexology into each massage session to   make it unique and specific to the client’s needs.  She is also trained in pregnancy massage and most enjoys assisting people on their journey toward better health.

 

Gus is a part time receptionist and official greeter.  He has no formal training but has a natural talent for putting people at ease.  Gus is also skilled at herding, shedding and napping.
